Umpires can do something. It's knowing when to step - each umpire could interpret situation differently.

All that needs to happen is the umpires just tell batsman to get on with it.

Of course not. Australian cricketers have to be literally perfect sportsmen and if they dare not just be submissive, probably pissing away a series in the process, while India take a combative approach, then we'll just have to live with that.

After all, what good are results if we're not playing with a level of morality and kindness not expected from our opposition?

They ought to give Konstas a 12-month ban for backing up his partner. Frankly, he should have had a crack at Usman along with Bumrah in the ultimate display of sportsmanship and celebrated his unplaybale straight half volley along with the Indian team, and he failed miserably. The model Australian cricketer would have asked Bumrah to take his shoe off to kiss his foot, and I don't even expect that of him.

Do you think young workers should just cop jibes from their older colleagues and keep their mouths shut in the workplace? How about in social sports? Or if they get involved in a community group or political party? In those environments do you should they just keep their mouths shut and it's okay for other people to hang shit on them?
