My view might be skewed by the fact our key forwards always dominate against Carlton but I wouldn’t say Weitering had an all Australian year.

He’s an above average player currently who does his role in one of the leagues worst defenses.

It will be pretty galling if he is picked over Aliir.

I call BS - there's an AA selection panel that convenes a couple of times through the season before naming the 40 man squad and final team. Even if this thing about clubs nominating three names is true, obviously the panel can select more than that from any club. Tredders is on the panel, so must've been outvoted re Trav - I can't believe he wouldn't have argued for his inclusion.

It's a bullshit system, but if that's the criteria Port should have named AA, Boak and Amon. As there was no way known Wines wasn't getting picked. There are often shit rules in the AFL, but it does shit me that Port never bends them to it's convenience, always playing the nice 'Guy' (at least wear a blue shirt).

Probably indicated to non Vic clubs put in 3 and others they said put in as many as you want.
