Yup, no more fire sales.

Our salary cap appears to be in good order (thank you GW). We could easily afford imo to pay Cameron what he wants but it's about keeping our structure and not overpaying for a ruckman. We cannot repeat the Grundy mistake.

Previously WCE were after Tim English? So whatever they were prepared to offer contract wise and player/draft pick wise then Cameron is worth more than that. So WCE would need to pay up big time imo.

Is anyone convinced Steene or Smit will develop into a regular Afl ruckman? That is my main concern as when we eventually let Grundy leave, we had Cox and Cameron that had shown they were capable.

Meek is at Hawthorn? But if you meant obtaining a back up ruckman at another club then yeah I agree.

We might have to add a sweetener such as Fin, AJ, HDM etc as it would give them greater opportunities and open up list spots for us. This might be just as important if the NGA and F/S options outside of McGuane continue to improve.

How are any of Macrae, aj or HDM a sweetener? Two will be delisted and one is a long way off showing he is afl capable. The suns vfl team is stacked. They don’t need VFL footballers

Cameron, 2x R1 and some later pick juggling that hopefully benefits all parties (WCE, GSC & COLL).

If Allan had to get involved, I wouldn’t be overly fussed, especially if it somehow saved us a 1st or secured a more favourable points position for us.

Their naivety is cute. A top 3 player at his position for a 2nd rounder.

An aside, but I don't mind Bailey Williams as a player. He's quite athletic, durable, and can play a bit of forward. But he is by no means a needle mover in a trade.

I can't see GC letting a contracted Moyle go when Witts is toward the end on top of losing Rowell without gaining players to replace the quality.
