If it is Moir and White for Cottrell and Evans then I'm stoked. Huge step in, what I believe is, the right direction - putting a forward line on the park that just about all threaten the scoreboard. We've been too defensive up forward this season, and our scoring output has suffered greatly for it.

Curnow to keep building, Kemp to keep presenting, Young to keep competing. Those three should be able to give us 8+ goals between them. But they can't kick a winning score by themselves - so we need to let Moir and White get dangerous. Give them the odd 1-v-1 out the back and let them cause some havoc. Leaves Fogarty as the only "pure" defensive forward, which is as it should be.

With seemingly H still an indefinite OUT surely we play Liam McMahon now? The perfect ready made replacement if one of our key forwards couldn't play. We did sign him as SSP right? Surely we didn't go with another delisted small forward in that final SSP spot?

Sarcasm aside, I watched Evans closely on Friday night. No run, no desperation around the ball, no spread when we got it.

Staggering decision.

Just need Young to take his shots from the boundary 45m out rather than 15m out dead in front ;)

Who's your sub?

I'd find it hard to believe Cottrell is omitted. Thought he did a good job on Dale last week and he is probably the best for the Houston job.

Think the same as you about Cotts, but club might feel that our forward line is too defensive with both FOG and Cotts up there.

The lack of goals from our small / mid forwards is concerning. Need to put pressure on opposition backmen by kicking goals. Personally, would keep in Cotts before FOG as Cotts is a better goal scorer.

Could be a fitness thing - if he didn't train today he might have a minor injury or health issue and they're taking the opportunity to give him a spell and change up the forward mix.

I want this team to play to hurt. Tackle hard, smash into them, make Daicos poop his pants, etc.

Wishful thinking? Sure. But I really do want to belt this mob for all the arsey wins they've had against us in the past few years.

Also don't want McGovern anywhere near goals near the siren. And tell Walsh to defend!

He is so lucky how quiet the media are on his efforts...
He has no confidence in his body imo cannot bend over to pick up the ball in fear of pinging a hamstring hence the kicks off the ground 😡

I like Moir and White in.

No matter how hard you try and make players into forwards, rarely does it work. It only works if they happen to "have it".

I think White has potential, if he uses that pace and gets to the right spots then he is just what we need.

We are desperate to find someone. We are still carrying too many players who just don't cut it in the forward end of the ground.

For what it is worth. I would like to see us throw Boyd forward. Give him the job on Houston.

Nicky-boy soiling his pants is as sure as the sun coming up.

He’d want to keep an eye out for captain crunch.
