Is it just me or is Hugh Bond criminally underrated by some?

Milera should be getting the Jarryd Lyons offer next contract.
And if he's upset about it, we can refer to his dollars earned vs games played from his last deal.
Just straight up say you’ve been prepaid 2 years you can have 3 years at 500 total

One of the few players re-signed for this year, but only given a one year contract.
Excellent game on the weekend again, easy to see he's been working on his game resolutely (kicking), hardly missed a target on the weekend 15 disposals down back 11 kicks 4 handballs 6 marks at 87% disposal efficiency.

I don’t think anyone with a handful of games and playing sanfl is underrated

I would suggest your NO list is spot on but Id add Schoenberg. Its really imo the last of the dead wood on the list mixed with the retirements of Walker and Smith. Maybe Gallagher goes as well. 7 changes is big. Gives us plenty of list room to attack the trade table and the draft.

Was looking at other teams recent trading years in light of some of our own recent trading decisions and came across this:

Surely close to the best 4 year block of trading in the history of the AFL and that doesn’t even include the pick trade to get Curtin.
Left off some of the best non trades & Free Agent non picks.
Harrison Petty, Mason Redman & Jack Lukosius

Absolutely, Petty in particular the currency being reported to get him was ridiculous, especially with his injury.

Whilst some of the contracts and lack of delisting have been questionable, credit when credit is due all those players you’ve brought in have been winners apart from Burgress but you could have left him out of that deal for pick 14 and you still would have won it.

Letting players go at their highest value like Doedee and McAdam as well and taking best available Curtin and Draper can’t be understated too. I’m coming over for the Crows Eagles game this year, I’m concerned we’re going to have the difference in success of our trading strategies well and truly exposed. Hopefully we‘ve improved from the corresponding gene last year, the Crows certainly have.

We don’t have much in the way of picks for next year. From memory we have our first and 2 or 3 thirds. We’ll be loading up with late picks, so there won’t be as much list movement as you’ve predicted. We might cycle a couple of discards like Burgess though.

IMO any club who's coach is using his teams upcoming draft hand in their answers on AFL 360 after round 2, are telegraphing their intentions. And its not retaining over priced middle of the pack FA ruckman.

TBH I'm predicting the word "firesale" to be used in relation to Essendon within the next 3 months. Also predict reports that the Crows have cooled on Draper.
If ROB's output remains improved by providing first look to a midfield that can actually use the ball, and ground role is less important with our already taller team, I'm thinking the club would much prefer ROB to Draper given ROB's leadership qualities

I thought Burgess was still contracted so he had to be involved for pick 14 as we absorbed his contract.

Wanganeen-Milera wants to play with Jase Burgoyne and I'd say whatever ever we offer isn't going to be enough to convince him even with us looking on the rise and Port crashing out.
