De Goey put on ice for swans and lions.
bring him back cherry ripe for ANZAC day.
So too Shultz both to rest up.
Get them all right.
Mitchell is eyeing anzac day as well depends on this next work load this week.

A few comments Mitchell eyeing off Anzac day weekend to return to play, has this been confirmed anywhere?

I'm not even considering Mitchell for Anzac Day at the moment. Make sure his body is 100% given his last two years.

Scans returned Pies said Shultz just to miss swans and lions.
Available for Anzac day so to De Goey.
They say they like to rest De goey for lions.

That’ll be VFL minutes. He’s spent 12 months out by that point so they’ll want to build his loads before bringing him in.

mitchell isn't getting back for anzac day if he just started running again lol He's been out since last anzac day and hasnt even done any drlls less alone any team training.

I'd say more 3-4 weeks away at least. There is no rush.
Are we really missing him that much? I would say no.

I think we are missing him. Quite badly. We've just learnt to live without him because it's been so long. It's far from ideal though.

Nick needs to be able to be outside more to get the most out of him and his elite ball use.

But absolutely no need to rush him back. Hopefully Long getting a full game can help Nick a bit more.

Whilst Long has improved this season he’s only had one full match where he’s come close to matching Titch’s output and it just so happened to be the best we’ve looked in years. We’re missing him! The question I have is whether we’re getting the early 2024 version of him or vintage Mitch?

Sidey has jumped into the inside mid minutes that Mitchell would get and is on fire, after looking very shaky before he went inside. Not sure if we'll be able to go with Sidey, Pendles and Mitchell inside - and I'm not sure that any of them are that suited to outside anymore.

Even when Mitchell comes back, is he even best 22 now considering how much time he's spent injured and his age

AVAILABLE:

Jordan De Goey
Jordan De Goey will be available for selection for Thursday night’s game against the Brisbane Lions. De Goey missed Collingwood’s Gather Round clash with Sydney due to inflammation in his ankle/Achilles.
OTHER:

Lachie Schultz
Lachie Schultz has increased his running speed since suffering a hamstring injury last week. Schultz is expected to spend another one to two weeks on the sideline.

Tom Mitchell
Tom Mitchell is continuing to build his running program as he returns from a foot injury.

Harvey Harrison (ACL), Ash Johnson (fibula) and Reef McInnes (ACL), are all progressing well with their individual rehab programs.

Recruit Harry Perryman is set to be available against the Lions, despite pulling up with a sore ankle from the win over the Swans and dealing with the six-day turnaround.
