Straight F1 from Essendon for Shanahan is a nice play and then promote a rookie or 2 and use pick 1 and re-sign Colina with 2nd rookie pick if we have to.
Or use SSP to trial some.

They play WC and Freo in WA (that they sold)
Crows in SA
Port in SA
GC in SA
Sydney in Sydney
Giants in Canberra
3 games in Hobart
We play them in rounds 11 and 24. The only games that they'll likely be favourites in.
If as I expect we're cooked by round 10, we should rest players leading into these games. These are our grand finals.
I went on their website to see how old their new gun recruits are in Parker, Darling and Daniel and they're not even listed on the website as players. 32, 32, 28 BTW

i think if we're trading for a future first it has to be a straight swap because we have **** all to give in return and because it's already well in our favour. we have no picks beyond 28 this year worth anything, and 1, 2 & 55 next year (as it stands)

Yze had Young, Gibcus starting KPDs. Grimes & Broad, And Vlas.
Tresize & Brown's slotted into Grimes spot well. But even he swung forward late season and kicked a couple.

I reckon tonight will be a pick slide and late F1. Somebody like GWS could do their F1 and pick 37.
The dream is Essendon hands over pick 28 and their F1. Unlikely unless Blair can bluff them into believing they are going to miss their target. It would be a nice knee to kidneys after our bid on Kako.
Of course, we could just take back our F2 from #lolNorf and get them to throw in their F2 and F3 as well. It's not the best trade, but it would be great for the laughs.

Let's face it financially they aren't viable hence why they sold 2 home games to WA.
