I agreeWe'd be crazy to lose Coffield over a 2 year contract.
I heard somewhere that McLennan was tracking very nicely, and that it was only injury holding him back during the season. Bachelor has had some high praise for him too when the kid manages to get on the park. All I know he has improved the list vastly since he has been at the club and we have not seen and will not see until a few more years how a lot of these players impact the club but I feel we now have a abundance of talent and some of it have not even played a game yet.
McLennan was available as a cat B rookie when we got Peris. Technically we messed up by choosing Josiah Kyle instead, who didn't work out.
We were lucky McLennan was still available the next year, though its still not sure thing he'll be good enough for AFL.
They would all have contracts in front of them by there manager would be looking around to see if they can get better anywhere else.I hope sos knows what he is doing. I would hate to sell all these players for minimum chipsSaints left in limbo with out-of-contract stars yet to re-sign
Jade Gresham, Hunter Clark and Nick Coffield are among of handful of St Kilda players who remain unsigned as the season draws to a closet.co
If he leaves after the club been paying him for the last 2 years , would be devastating.Really hope we don't lose the Coff.
Recency bias is immense in footy. And I know it's hard to maintain players on the list with consistent injuries (beyond their control) for too long. But he's worth a new contract.
Is built like a man now, was in great form prior to his injuries and everyone recognised what a weapon and an asset was to the club.
Back him to get back there.
Wouldn’t be devastated because we’ve been paying him.If he leaves after the club been paying him for the last 2 years , would be devastating.
Exactly why I wouldn’t.
Has been injured for 2 years and played no senior football.
Deliver time in 2024. Earn another deal.
We'd be crazy to lose Coffield over a 2 year contract.
Think you’re agreeing with him.Why would it he crazy?
He did a knee then a calf. Has shown he has untapped talent.
We gave 3 years to Nathan Freeman who had zero senior form or experience.

I was thinking the club might tell them to do pre season and if they get through we‘ll offer a deal then, depending on who we pick up in the meantime. I can’t imagine we‘ll have much competition for their signatures.Jones and McKenzie are the players I'm interested in , will they even be offered contracts knowing they are constantly injured.
Both are handy players but will they ever get on the park.
Much rather keep Coff.I’m over Zak jones. Same situation as Hanners. He’s never on the park. Hanners was twice the footballers

So something that happened 25 years ago should be the reason behind a decision we make today? We did that to Joel Smith after a serious injury.
Worked out well for us.

That’s North’s scraps.Keep, Clarke, Coff, Dmac and Jones.
Gresh on money we think is reasonable.
Trade Howard to North for Will Phillips.
And Howard’s ours, Phillips has 10 years left and shown talent at the level. That’s North’s scraps.
With the amount of other list spots that will be opened, there's little risk keeping on a 1 year, low wage deal.I’m over Zak jones. Same situation as Hanners. He’s never on the park. Hanners was twice the footballers
It's probably me that's been plugging Gus but TBH I've only seen him on the teev.I heard somewhere that McLennan was tracking very nicely, and that it was only injury holding him back during the season. Bachelor has had some high praise for him too when the kid manages to get on the park.
Thank god. The club wouldn't have been stupid enough to recruit him but now at least we can stop talking about him.Matt Crouchhas re-signed at Adelaide.PLAYERCARDSTART5Matt Crouch
