Because he’s a complete idiot off the field. Don’t get me wrong he’s a better play than Clark, but if it said that we are looking to move him on because of offield issues, then it wouldn’t make sense to target de goey.

Why can't we take 5-6 in the draft?

As an example, in 2020 Collingwood took 8 draft picks then 2 more in the mid-season draft. Most of them were pick 30 or later (like rookie draft).

Ollie Henry - going ok, about to ask for a trade
Finlay Macrae - played a few games, not sure
Reef McInnes - played a few games, not sure
Caleb Poulter - played a few games, not sure
Liam McMahon - just delisted
Beau McCreery - pretty important in their prelim side
Jack Ginnivan - pretty important in their prelim side
Isaac Chugg - just delisted

Ash Johnson - played in a prelim
Aiden Begg - played a couple of games, not sure

A couple of hits, jury still out on a bunch, a couple of misses.

The more picks you have, the more chances you have to get players that surprise you.

Four picks inside 30, one at 44 in the ND. I wasn’t counting rookies. Much better hand then we are holding atm. Get them wrong and there are a lot of players not even up to VFL level. We have 2 or 3 on the list from the last couple of years that aren’t VFL standard already.

Our development is bad enough without Sandy getting spanked every week.

Would like to hear the club come out and say Clark is a required player and will not be going anywhere.
Unless I have missed it, that hasn't happened which makes me think they are shopping him around and
effectively hanging him out to dry. Which is a pretty shameful way to treat a young talented player who
has been through the mill in the past two seasons for reasons beyond his control. There is a lot to hate about
this time of the year and the way the game is going.

The club haven't come out and said Membrey is a required player either.
And the only difference is one unqualified tweet about Clark being considered to be 'gettable'.
I'm glad the club isn't monitoring this rubbish and working out what number they'll give JDG and Been King next year.

I mean the coach says " we are kicking it to Kingy deep" which one?

The commentators would be rooted as well....kind of.

, I want more elite kids to develop with Wanganeen-Milera, Windhager and Owens.
Convinced that good drafting is the only way to a flag.

Also convinced that we’ll be a better team next year if the momentum is coming from a squad of Under 23 year olds pushing to make a name for themselves and play exciting footy.

I want high rotationals through the middle, and a dynamic forward line. Keep the defence as is, and we make the top 8 with all that IMO. Assuming the coaches are up to the task that is.
