Grundy had more HO to advantage than both the Eagles rucks combined, but Vardy definitely had him covered around the ground.

Lycett is a solid backup, nothing more..... they are paying typical Port overs.

Really?? Lycett stopped Grundy all over the ground and Grundy had no influence at all grand final day. He is a quality player that unfortunately will make the power better. To bad they are going to lose Polec and maybe Wingard

Wow, that list of players. Hindsight is wonderful but Beams is the only one of those that's been worth the pick.

It would be interesting to see what each of those picks was used for to compare player vs player.

But Weller, McCarthy, Carlisle and Tyson are no stars of the comp.

Well McCarthy was traded along with 7. Tyson traded along with 9. Carlisle traded with a second rounder. So in most cases the club giving up the player also had to give a decent pick.

At the right price I would jump.at the opportunity to bring in Zac Smith

Smith has talent however has lacked consistency throughout his career, in 2017 he finished 8th in Grelongs B&F and then went on to struggled to make the team in 2018

I also recall Smith towelling up Sauce in a game on the GC when he was playing against the Suns and again in 2017 at Skilled when playing for the Cats

I'm very confident in that Smith still can be a top line ruck however unlocking his consistency is the key, he definitely has the talent

Smith is average and no way is he better the Sauce, 1 or 2 good games doesn’t make a career. If ZSmith is that good, why is he going to be let go by his second club???

People don’t always reach their potential, did lack of determination and hunger for the contest just isn’t there

What's going on with Paul Hunter? Are we just holding off delisting him in case we can't land a ruckman during the trade period? If he is retained, I assume he will need to be delisted (due to having spent the maximum 3 years on our rookie list) and re-drafted onto the rookie list (some possibility), or placed on the senior list (highly unlikely).

He’s come on in leaps and bounds. So,never get a game.

Yes, 3rd year in a row .... first two years was due to home sickness ....yes that old crock of shit statement ...so being absolutely consistent in his strong desire to get home, he goes the exact opposite, to Brisbane
