Golumless
A bigger deal out west.
I am still not convinced that throwing 5 picks inside the top 25 for 2 inside the first three picks is the best move.
Pick 25 is usually a pretty damn good player, read Matt Crouch. 5 players inside 25 is huge for Adelaide.
Pick 2 and 3 is also unheard of, but what if 1 does a knee or turns out like Brad Crouch, you are then left with 1 top flight player rather than 5 very good players
What if all 5 players do a knee?
Really though premierships are won by elite players. 2 and 3 would give us two with the talent to do so which 5 picks later potentially wouldn't.
If both 2 and 3 are permanently injured, that would go into the right idea, shit happens basket. You move on quickly because no one with half a brain is going to begrudge a move that was designed to strengthen the elite core of a side.
Good to very good players are interchangable and can be obtained at anytime. A large portion of that is structures after all.
