Why? The very definition of cheating is deliberately seeking to break rules to gain an advantage.

If players do that under your watch, that might be bad captaincy or a sign that you’re a bad leader, but they’re grown men. That’s on them. That’s not you cheating.

There’s no version of the story that has ever implicated him in having anything to do with what was going on beyond basically being aware that Warner was cooking something up and effectively saying ‘whatever you blokes are up to, I don’t want anything to do with it.’

To me that’s nothing worse than bad leadership. It doesn’t make him a cheat
