Yeah, I want us to experiment with more yellow and less red on a kit. Always genuinely rated our old training jumper. Wonder what it would look like with a yellow top, gold logo and red shorts.
And having a black/stealth kit seems like a no-brainer for merch, even if players don’t wear it often (or at all). Polos, hats and t-shirts would work so good. Less out there, easier to wear in public/work.

I've been meaning to post my thoughts on this design since the official announcement, but I didn't want to trawl through the previous 25+ pages to see everyone's thoughts and if my distaste for the new branding is actually a popular or unpopular opinion; I know how y'all love random discordant gradients. I just always remember about this thread while driving or when I'm trying to sleep. But my opinion can be summarized with this image:
I don't necessarily hate the new logo, even though it looks like a combo of that Epoch and the Oakley sunglasses logo. But the red-on-red guernsey design just looks so awful. I was in the AFL shop on Sunday and it looks even worse in person. It did achieve one thing for the team; I bought some stuff with the old branding because it's not on the Gold Coast website anymore and I don't want to miss my chance with the discontinued merch.

Oh ew, I just saw the back of the clash. The bleed of the cuffs into the guernsey is very much a choice.

Probably one of the ones you need to wait to see what the reasoning behind the pink is I guess.. don’t hate clubs starting to change colouring on some secondary guernseys (bit like soccer and the nba) but strange to do it year 1 in a rebrand
