Adelaide - B+
Solid draft for the Crows and the most predictable as the draft nights approached with them getting locals Sid Draper and Tyler Welsh. Both should be just about ready to go with Draper adding some slickness to Adelaide's midfield. It's hard to argue against his selection...

Is this how we think things will be filled out
Cole = Key Defender
Hoffman = Medium Defender
Peckett = Outside mid/forward
Pick 7 & 8 = Inside Mids
Pick 32 = Key Forward
I think he doesn't take into account just how brutal our injuries were especially to mids. Even without progression and just purely from a better injury run and a softer fixture I reckon we substantially improve.
...the midfield with Phillipou as the potential A-grade teammate while a collection of onballers including Macrae, Paddy Dow, Hunter Clark, ZakJones try to show they are capable of more than holding up an end.
DRAFT STRATEGY
If St Kilda does want to bolster its midfield by taking two...
...especially with the first 4 guys I named all lacking explosive speed.
Then there’s whoever we draft with our first pick this year, and ZakJones and Hugo Garcia, so he’s certainly likely to have a fight on his hands to get a game.
Does look alike a very useful depth option though, with...
Are we splitting hairs here?
His attributes stack against the attributes of the big 6
and
Picks 7/8 9 and 10 are all keen on him.
And hey it just dawned on me.
Bo Allan & Alix Tauru…. Come on down!!
He kind of is in that discussion if Melbourne are one of the interested clubs.
I’d hate to over look a Murphy Reid type, who is a proven gun mid to go for a speculative upside type in Bo Allan despite all of his athleticism.
I see the fascination with the athletic profile but he’d have the...
Allan with just average skills is pick 1 in this draft. But his kicking is far worse than byrnes and jones per your example.
I'm also interested to understand how he'd go in the backline at afl level where it's pretty important to have great skills unless you are a lock down back. I assume a...
...athletic base - we just need to develop the craft. Given he has limited exposure to the midfield, I have faith we can teach him the necessary midfield craft. The kicking...well idk. Byrnes' problems seem somewhat alleviated while 30 yr old ZakJones was able to turn it around this year as well.

I can't face reading that thread but it still sounds as though you are being overly harsh to both Horse and our coaches generally. Our intense disappointment at our repeated, crushing GF losses shouldn't be allowed to obscure how much we have got right.
However, I have been quite receptive...
It’s also so much easier to move the coach on than the whole playing list.
Horse did a lot of things right then halfway through brought 10% fit players back and wondered why everything turned to trash. Was this the only reason no. His inability to go outside the 3 talls plus a ruck has been a...

He no longer plays TAC, he’s the number one goal kicker for the St Kilda football club in the AFL. So when suggested he would be good midfield depth cover, yes, we are laughing 😂
