Adelaide ran away with it in the end against the roos but weren't overly convincing. Last year we dominated at home and were crap away. Now we are dominating away, i wonder if we'll take it up a notch at home and pump the Crows?

Is that not a bit contradictory? Larkeys the best finisher in the comp but they lost by 6 goals. Crows have half a dozen who are quite capable of kicking a bag each. Very scary stuff for a defender. Hoping Kingy has his boots on for you lads!
North are horrible at delivering the ball inside 50. It's only been 2 games but our ball movement forward has been excellent. 17 marks inside 50 against Melbourne and 19 against WCE. Thats the difference, Crows backline is very suspect and a good team will exploit that.

IF, and this is a big IF, but IF we pump a fellow undefeated team in the Crows this weekend then the media will go nuts and likely unanimously annoint us as a legitimate finals contender and possibly even a top 4 team. At that point, the narrative around our club completely changes and it probably gives us a good chance to secure some prime time slots in the second half of the season when the AFL releases the remaining dates/times. A win this Saturday would also really set a great foundation for us to build on throughout the season and I'm sure Dimma is well aware of how important it is for us to get off to a good start.

I can't wait! Haven't been this excited about our immediate future in a long time.

Scheduling our home games early in the season at midday is plainly stupid from AFL. Lucky for me after upgrade I will sit nicely at South stand.

So after coming of age against Demons Suns fans including me are feeling more confident about sustaining this type of performances. Not much to complain about except missing some easy opportunities and still lacking polish sometimes in ball movement.

Crows are hot team and should be a good test. They recruited excellently in the off-season.

Their midfield improved. It's not only Dawson, but Rankine spends more minutes there, Soligo looks ready and has excellent speed, Crouch reinvented himself. Peatling, ANB are excellent additions.

On the other hand I love what I saw so far from our midfield. We now rotate 6 players with significant CBA percentages - Rowell, Anderson, Humphrey, Graham, Miller, Flanders - all looking in form and doing a great job. I love Miller's new role.

Obviously, people admire Crows 3 talls scoring capacity. On the other hand it should allow us to rebound as they are not fastest players. Tex could be rested. Rachelle is significant loss forward. Keays is in excellent form.

I suspect we play the same team unless Ainsworth is OK. I hope Mac will be up to speed in his 2nd game.

How will Crows handle our talls? Murray missing is a big loss.

Home advantage. Suns by 16.

I am never confident. After traveling to many games and leaving after a L of so many that should’ve been W I suffer from PTSD

It will take a long time for all of us to recover. Playing finals will help :) Only 11 more wins needed, haha.

We did play nice footy brand so far.

forwards sell memberships
midfielders get sponsorships
defenders win premierships

we need to get the mix right and we will be flying for all 3

Keep the lid on things Billy. Get some bricks for your bins and ffs keep the lid on!

I know we look different this year, different in a good way. You can see it around the ball and in the body language. Rowell has jumped a level (the hardest level to jump, from A to elite), Touk and Humper have jumped two levels at least. The body language is excellent. But please get some bricks!!!

oh 100% lid on still. not til we win against some better teams will lid even start to jiggle.
but i know we will have another membership record this year and i also think our sponsors will get some good publicity.
its now down to the players and particularly the back 6 to keep it tight!

Let's see what teams will be announced today but Crows could have 4 talls in forward line. It really is unique line up compared to the rest of competition. I actually thought that Waller and Fogarty are taller.

Walker 192
Thilthorpe 201
Fogarty 192
Curtin 197
