Yet police say he acted alone are not looking for any other offender in connection to this crime.
This indicates police do not believe there is a bikie/organised crime connection.
Interesting, in the beginning, the police believe one or more parties were involved in the disappearance of Samantha Murphy. I still think with a three-hour time frame, from when she disappeared to when the police were called. I think it was planned beforehand, and I feel someone else/ others know. POS is not talking, so I don't know how certain the VICPOL could be

They actually said, “we do think that another party is involved, whether that be one person or multiple”.

They didn’t say either say either in that interview, there’s no inference they were looking for more than one.

That quote is from 23 Feb. Referring to "another person" means a person other than Samantha, not a person other than POS who was not in the frame at the time of that interview.

The later police interview after POS arrest clearly states they are not looking for anyone else (other than POS).

Exactly, once they had POS, they needed no more. We’re on the same page

The interview was predicated on the fact they though it was murder, and someone else was involved.

Police believe more than one person may be involved in the disappearance of missing Victorian mum Samantha Murphy.

The VICPOL arrested POS seven weeks ago and mentioned that then, but the situation might have changed now, especially when he's not talking. If that was the case, the VICPOL will be keeping quiet, especially if they have a crown witness to the case

I have not seen any statement from police which says that. Where are you getting that information? Your source is dated February 8th - WAY before POS was arrested. At the last press conference they specifically said they were not looking for anyone else.

The police aren't going to tell everything If they are looking at anyone else. A lot can happen in a month as well

You've got your timeline wrong. Early on they said they were looking for "one or more" then after the arrest of POS they said they weren't looking for anyone else.

It's pretty straightforward

This is repeatedly incorrect, there is nothing to support . Why peddle it so much?

Trail seems to have gone cold on this one. Finding the body of SM without any voluntary help from the alleged perp is going to be very difficult.
Makes you wonder. If police are certain they've got the right bloke, how come they haven't located the body? They must have some theory about how / where the alleged perp disposed of it, and they have actively stated they aren't looking for anyone else. Their theory cannot be reliant on the alleged perp confessing and telling them, because clearly that is not gonna happen.

Obviously because he ain't talking. Whoever the guilty part is had a very long time to dispose of the body a long way from the disappearance / search area.

It's a big country. I'm surprised and impressed that the police find as many bodies as they do.

Usually they do by getting it out of the suspect though. Without an idea on where to start looking finding a body is pretty much an impossibility.

For instance, I doubt the cops would ever have found Jill Meagher's body if they didn't get Bayley to give up its location. He just went on a random drive and buried his victim in a completely random place.

One of my prisoners was captured on CCTV when he decided to go back and move the body from it's original burial site! I think Rogerson was also captured on CCTV disposing of he body. Out in the country where there's few cameras even today, it must be like searching for a needle in a pile of needle-shaped things.

Did Greg Lynn give up the location of the bodies of Russell Hill and Carol Clay?

Considering they went out there and pretty much knew the exact place days after interviewing him there's a high chance he did. The only other option is they were able to recover location info from his navigation device and find them that way.

Without either of those two things the coppers would never have found them.

I reckons would have been found, just around the corner from me - shallow grave, just off side of road. For a metro person appears remote bush, but it is quite busy and road maintenance, dog walkers, horse riders would stumble across - wasnt remote at all

Which prison do you work in?

If you can say ofc.
