Never worn anything but shirts since I started. Will never purchase a pair either.

Yes both. Warm up top, nice cooling breeze down below.

The National today. Beautiful conditions, a light gentle breeze. Overcast with rain on the last green. Moonah is always in terrific condition, even as the weather becomes cooler.

No balls were lost today. Disappointments mostly o the 3rd, when you're 119 from the pin after driver hit to centre of the fairway, one must not double. Pulled wedge left with a downhill slider putt from the apron. Nope nope and nope.

Highlight, par 5 over the back in 3. ball stuck 30cm above the ground in a wall of soil and grass ledge. flubbed it out. waltzed up and maintained calmness without thinking chipped in. Nonchalant.

crap thing was a 4.30 hr round. stableford. ffs. Yes its the guest course for the day, but cmon guests in the group in front (x2), you dont need to freaking take forever, take photos, go find a ball thats dead. Its stableford!!!!

Trying to think when my next round is, footy is back so coaching curtails my weekends with couple time. If only she enjoyed heading out for a round, or even a drive around the course in a cart.

Gentsomes today. Played with course staff and stupid pins.
Great fun but not real golf.
Fwiw round took 4.5hrs. Weird when you think everyone hits from the best drive.

Yep. I've had 7 rounds scheduled since 28/1 and only one has been unaffected by rain

Enjoyed less than the full 18 holes due to downpour at peninsula. Golf was fun and playing fairly well. only one lost ball playing off 13. Putted well and adninistering a hybrid around the greens instead of chipping when the requirement demands

Good strategy using the hybrid around the greens. With tight lies it makes more sense than trying to smack a putter 30-40m
I should do it more but struggle with distance control (don't practice enough with it). I tend to chip and run with a 9iron back in the stance

96 today first time at Hepburn Springs. Nice country public course, pretty fun to play.

45(!!) Putts though. Would have had a really strong round if I didn't 3 putt everything. Did make one bomb though from about 20 foot which was awesome.

Had a 19 pointer on Thursday, 6 on the front nine, could do nothing right.

Today with much tougher course set up had a much more respectable 32, 16 on each side. Found a few too many bunkers (including one on 7 which I couldn't get out of) and putting was pretty poor, except on 2 where I drained a long par putt which would have rolled off the front of the green if it didn't find the cup (so it was actually a bad putt that got lucky). Was very happy with my irons and wedges today, can't think of a bad strike. All in all I should have scored a bit better but can't complain after Thursday's s**t show.

Must say the conditions at Lang Lang are fantastic at the moment. Has held up to the wet weather and the new crew have tidied the course up very well. Fairways and greens are in great knick. Worth coming down for a hit.

Been in South Korea for 2 and a bit weeks and no golf. Arrived back last Saturday, played 18 at Carramar, wasn't pretty - 109. Headed back today, hitting them better - however a 54 on the front 9. Better back 9, with a 45, parred the last 3. Also come from behind win against my playing partner, saved myself $50.
