Hawthorn vs St Kilda Round 9
1
5. Jai Newcombe - was incredible, I want him to utilise his damaging right peg a little more but his ability to break tackles and explode from contest is incredible. Bulls game and had the polish.
4. Karl Amon - was also superb, his kicks didn’t all come off but most did and some of them were pure bliss. Cutting up the ground and daggers through zones.
3. Lloyd Meek - played like a man mountain, almost 50 hitouts and a lot to advantage (46 with 14 to advantage). Great physicality and contest work forward and back.
2. Jack Scrimshaw - playing like a man possessed currently, he’s genuinely elite by foot and his ability to intercept or kill the ball/contest is superb, his courage has been a massive highlight and playing like his talent always had.
1.Nick Watson - provided much needed pressure, rewarded with a couple goals and just had an electric nature out there today.

Round 9: Votes v St. Kilda

5. Jai Newcombe
4. Lloyd Meek
3. Karl Amon
2. Jack Scrimshaw
1. Dylan Moore

This week there was a very clear top 5. Not much separated the top 3 with Newcombe coming out on top. Meek & Amon had a closer battle for 2nd with Meek edging Amon. Quite further back were the consistency kings this year in Scrimmers & Moore.

Moore keeps his lead at the top, leading by 5 votes over both Meek & Scrimshaw who are having career best seasons no doubt. After a slow start to the year it is good to see the 2 time runner up in Duke enter the top 5.
