Deer Park have thumbed their nose at the Salary cap once again. When will the WRFL wake up.
It must have been a huge offer for Levi to start playing again. considering his past problems with concussion. Who does he sue if he has more concussion problems, the AFL, WRFL or Deer Park.

Collingwood’s Levi Greenwood has been forced into retirement, as he prioritises his health after a series of concussions over trying to return to the footy field.
He is in business with money bags …hearing he will coach and the old president will be moved on

How many wrfl clubs have a 3rds team?

Was only a few from what I gather, was a good fun comp to play in before lockdown.

Any other clubs looking at putting in a 3rds?

Not sure about this year (mainly due to Covid drop-off), but in previous years Altona has had up to 15-20 miss out on a game pretty regularly.

It's a great way to keep those who miss out involved, its also good for the club, becuase then those who miss out, play their Friday night and can come down and lend a hand or drink beers and contribute to the club either way

A huge day for the DEER PARK FC at the casino Friday afternoon. Say what you like about the club but they have thrown a massive amount of support behind a young man who has been dealt a s**t card and is in need of a specially equipped vehicle due to an accident while playing the great game we all LOVE! The day was outstanding and everyone dug deep raising $51k for Dyson Stevens and his beautiful family. The family have a go fund me page to add to the amazing funds raised from Friday.

If you can spare a few bucks go to gofundme.com and type in Dyson Stevens. Much appreciated. Screenshot_20211115-234111_Facebook.jpg

And great to see they have appointed Dyson has assistant coach. Yes we can pot the club for other things but raising this much coin and offering him a role to stay involved in the game says a lot about the people there. Great stuff, love it. ❤️

That is very well played by DP, no one likes to see this stuff happen on a footy field.
Good luck to him

No doubt all the Deer Park recruits will be "employed" by Mr Money Bags so that their "match payments" will keep the football club under the Salary Cap.

Well the AFL has released the vaccination policy for VFL, VFLW and NAB leagues. Double vaccinations all round.

Community football is left up to state health guidelines, ie no definitive direction.
