Sorry no notes.

Golden Whistle - Adam Bailes
A change for the year where all disciplines have best first year and most improved - Tim Wood in the goals was one of the winners here.

Asha Hinton won the Bob Dunstan Award
Jim Marinis the Andy Carrick Award

MC Nick Quinn had a lot of fun with Guy Hexter - plenty of ribbing.

Topping the Milestone list was David Windlow with 1100 games.
is David Windlow still umpiring & can remember him umpiring G grade games in the 80's?

Good to see best first year added to the awards.

Does first year include returning from a spell 😉

Congrats on your GF appointment pazza. I'm confident Maxwell will be only too happy to shout you a beverage or three post your duties.

Also, good to see the Little Master once again there on the day that matters. Should have been in Prem rather then Prem 'B' but I get the need to encourage those destined for higher honours.

10 of our umpires...the most of any competition by the way...were recently in Shepparton for the V/Line Cup.

Of that group, 2 of them placed very highly

Field umpire Jack Seymour was ranked the top field umpire and Golden Whistle. Also picked up the vAFA Most Promising Umpire Award in the same week.

Aiden Mcdonald was the top ranked boundary umpire.

Also Michael Gough got VAFA Umpire of the year.

Once again, the VAFA has had delivered in terms of umpire development.

18 spots were available for umpires to go from local level to state level. 9 of those spots have gone to VAFA umpires.

Congratulations to Adam Bailes, Mitchell Bellingham, Katie Gillespie, Josh Hamilton, Asha Hinton (yes following in Chuck's footsteps), Finn Horan, Aiden McDonald, Jack Seymour and Tim Wood on their respective achievements at reaching the next level.

You going around again? I’m thinking it’s the perfect time to make a comeback and take the Premier GF!
