JOM and Erasmus are gone. Brodie easily deserves match time now

Even if sub. Brodie working his arse off at Peel. That chase down tackle on Jai Culley was class.

JOM needs to find form at Peel. Erasmus having been sub and chucked in at a pressure cooker point for the past few weeks has smashed his confidence. He should also go back to Peel.

Stanley does some amazing things but needs to build at Peel for a few weeks. As does Wagner being his first game.

Those in line for call-up
Chapman, Brodie, Worner, Simpson, possibly Voss (but more likely back to Tabs - who I saw walking around the change rooms at half time with his footy clothes on).

Yep I agree. My changes that wont happen I know because JL never makes big changes: Ethan Stanley, Freddy, Switta, Voss, Worner and Cooper Simpson too. At least they can all kick the ball better than than the players they would replace. Out. Hughes, O'Meara, Erasmus, Walters, Amiss, Walker, Banfield. Johnson the sub.

I mean be prepared to stick around and mentor the next gen at Peel. If he is playing well enough to get a gig at afl level or to fill in for injury. No problem Otherwise decide whether he is prepared to bring through our future players at Peel. He may elect to leave or retire rather than do that. It is up to him .

Heh…I was quite encouraged after this game…thought we’re looking pretty good, and there was barely a player on the field from the Eagles that I liked.

We’ll be the same next week when we drop all our spuds, and then our depth is looking trash too

I totally agree.Also for the second year in a row we are playing a player who's skill set is not suited to a wing (eg obviously Hughes early 2023) on a wing and expecting it to work. In all honesty I don't think we will play the player i'd bring in (Stanley) but at the very least I think its time to put Aish back on the wing in the short term and play Worner and Chapman in defence while dropping O'Meara and Hughes while making Johnson the sub (when he comes on he plays onball subbing for Fyfe if there is no injuries). Playing only one specialist winger has been a major flaw in our gameplan this year.

Yeah it's up to the coaching staff at this point. I mean it's not like any AFL player is going to drop themselves short of retirement.

Can't see Wagner getting a gig just yet. Stanley and Chapoy must be close. Noddy still looks bothered by his knee. He couldn't get off the ground at one point yesterday.

Just watched the highlights. That handball that Simpson quickly shot out to Wemm to score the first goal of the 2nd half was beautiful...then he kicked the next two Peel goals and the game was pretty much over one the scoreboard. Brodie a big part of that 2nd half surge too.

Agree with your comments except bring back Tabs, he is cooked and should retire with long term injury before the mid season draft,probably the same for JOM

Play Voss and lets see if he make the grade

Watched the replay and although he didn't fully capitalise, Simpson has some class. Stanley also has weapons that would translate nicely into the AFL.

need to replace Amiss too. I hope Voss plays but I'm expecting Tabs, so if it happens it will be a pleasant surprise.

Also Switta and Freddo Frog Legs are automatic selections if passed fit you'd think. Can't see J-Lo making more than 4 changes, but you never know
