Watching the Bombers Saints game, I actually don't mind the harsher 50m penalties for time wasting. The abuse ones seem a bit ridiculous but players have been getting away with blatant time wasting for years.

Need to introduce a 25m penalty for time wasting and talking back. 50m is too much and should be reserved for late hits, severe abuse and dangerous acts.

I'm on board with the time wasting 50s, although could cause a bit of a problem when the players genuinely can't hear the whistle. Been slightly mystifying to me in recent seasons that protected area infringements that had 0 impact on the play were a focus but obvious time wasting was unpenalised. Hopefully our boys make the adjustment quickly.
