Knowing Chris Scott & this teams mentality, I find that all unlikely.

More likely is the Blues threw caution to the wind, as teams do when still some sort of a chance, & caught the Cats a bit off guard. Either way, was a good contest.

You're basing that on an arbitrary thing such as knowing people. You could also apply the same logic and say that many goals in a row in such small minutes would be uncharacteristic of Geelong. Fact is they've won 6 in a row going on 7 and were exhausted from fighting off Carlton advances the whole game. Like I said, it is a regular occurrence for teams to slow down a bit late especially if they feel like they've been at full pace for so long and it's called junk time for a reason. If you think throwing "caution to the wind" is the answer to a good performance then you should watch more footy. Logic is the score line flattered the Bloos. They've got things to address atm.
