The dogs need to change the access code to the training facilities today to keep bevo from ruining the team further
This.

Easily the worst coach going around at the moment.

He thinks he is the magnet whisperer , but only ends up sabotaging what is a pretty good list.

100%.

Cost them a finals berth when they should be finishing top 4 easily with that list, yet hasn't done it once...

It’s not like he would be leaving unfulfilled. Got a flag and a second grand final. 56% win rate over 10 years is pretty good, finals in 6 of them.

It’s just dragging himself and the club down at this point and that’s sad.

Nicks?
Been in the job for half a decade and yet to make finals, in a similar mould to Richardson and Dew.

Beveridge is bad but he's not the worst, given he's won silverware and made multiple grand finals.

A potential sack race in order from most likely to least likely to get sacked:

1. Luke Beveridge - how much longer has he got? His performances over the last couple of years given the calibre of his list is completely inexcusable. Surely the credits from 2016 can't last in perpetuity?
2. Matthew Nicks - started the season terribly and has gotten a pretty fun list playing boring as batshit footy. I know they were hideously unlucky to miss the 8 last year, but assuming they don't recover he will have 5 years without a single finals appearance to count for. He is very lucky he got an early year extension.
3. Justin Longmuir - I don't think the extension counts for much, but at least Fremantle has started the season well. As long as he keeps it up he'll probably be fine, but if they miss the 8 he'll at a minimum be in trouble.
4. Ken Hinkley - if they bomb out of finals again the knives will surely come out and it'll be a question of whether he can convince the board to let him hand the keys to Carr in 2026 or he gets moved on in the off-season. Still, I think it's more likely he'll leave after 2025 than this year.
5. Adam Simpson - likely gone once his contract is up, but there's not a lot of point in sacking him now unless they cop multiple 100 point losses ala 2022/23. It will only increase the pressure on his replacement.
6. Sam Mitchell - I still think he can coach, but this year has had some concerning signs. Probably won't get sacked, but if they finish Bottom 4 again he'll be under pressure in 2025.
7. Alastair Clarkson - has the messiah about him, but off-field controversies may bite and he hasn't really turned that side around at all. Likely won't get dumped this season, but if they're still like this in 18 months time he'll be under the pump.
8. Simon Goodwin - similar to Hinkley, if they bomb out of finals again he'll come under pressure. The difference between him and Hinkley is that at least he won a Premiership so there's probably less internal clamouring to get rid of him. Will another controversy force him to resign, though?
9. Chris Fagan - seems unlikely but if they miss finals he does have the feel of someone who might decide he's had enough and hands the keys over to someone else.
10. Brad Scott - has done reasonably well with a pretty middling list thus far, but could be vulnerable if Essendon's season goes south given how their board has behaved recently.
11. Michael Voss - the 2023 finals run will give him insurance, but it will be interesting to see how Carlton react if they manage to miss finals from here. They haven't exactly been the most patient club for coaches thus far.....
12. John Longmire - if they get smacked in another big final does he start to feel the pressure? Don't think Sydney are the right kind of club to push him for big major final defeats though.
13. Chris Scott - started the season well enough that any feeling of needing a change is on the backburner. I can't imagine Geelong wanting to move on unless they have multiple seasons near the bottom of the ladder.
14. Ross Lyon - has borderline iconic status at St Kilda and has done well with a list that isn't that special in his second stint at the club. Won't be going anywhere unless things turn really sour.
15. Adem Yze - only just started and has done OK with a list that's aging and looks ripe for a hard rebuild. Will get a long rope.
16. Adam Kingsley - has done amazing things with a list that looked like it needed a rebuild before coming on board. Safe as houses.
17. Craig McRae - given how they've played with him at the helm, no-one at Collingwood is going to want to sack him any time soon.
18. Damien Hardwick - if he fails they may as well wind up the club.

I'd say 1 & 2 are in serious trouble, 3-6 look OK but are still not really secure, 7-9 are probably safe but might be vulnerable if things change, 10-14 would need something weird to happen for them to move on, and 15-18 are as safe as houses.

This is just not true. The list isn't that good. The wasted years were 2019-21. They haven't been close to it since.

Bevo is a dud coach, but a new great coach won't rescue this list.

Yeah Nicks is struggling too.

But Bevo is easily the worst for mine.

How long can Dimma keep his pecker in his pants?
How long can Clarko control his verbal eruptions?
When's that Human Rights hearing gonna happen?

These are some of the pertinent questions.

Nick's is in real danger.

Players going backwards. Player development is poor.

Rankine has been disappointing rachele is completely lost.
Dawson has sub par leadership
Walkers behaviour last night on multiple occasions indicates a greater disunity at Adelaide
Most of their younger players are either underpeforming or not up to standard
Fogarty is not AFL standard
Recruiting has been sub par.
Team doesn't play as one and are selfish.

Pretty hard to see him work out of this mess. I think Adelaide would have to be the most disappointing team to date.

Nick's is safe.

They're so close to it clicking.

Have been in every game, haven't been flogged.

They'll get a run on soon and prob still a top 8 spot

We were only in the game last night because Essendon couldn't kick straight. They should've us to the sword.

Top 8? North will beat us next week given how bad our game style is and the fact we have the worst bottom 6 players in the comp.

How many clubs would have Ned McHenry considered best 22 by the coach?

I feel like if they keep letting your oppo have 28 scores to 20 (this week and last) they're probably not that close and lucky to have the win they do.
