I think one that can play around the ground is more valuable than one that can only ruck.
Some stats guru gave stats of Carlton’s win percentage with Pitonet and De Koning vs just De Koning or just Pitonet
It was something like
60% - just De Koning
30% - both
10% - just Pitonet

Well, I think that if they were to swap roles, Ned would likely also be right up there.

Similarly, Rob would be equally as effective as a pressure forward/shape keeping player.
