The fact that they’re posting this on their socials and he is in PR duties today makes me think he is a very good chance of debuting in around 1.

10 months is quick, but he would have done most of the fitness side of pre-season.

I am really happy to hear Pasini might get his first guernsey Round 1.
He will definitely have more closing speed than Clurey and McKenzie who could be backups sooner rather than later.
If the young tall backs get their act together, they could get a game this season too.

Good chance to play early in the season, you'd think.
Surely one of our many budget development coaches will realise we can't be rocking the trio of Clurey (29)/McKenzie (31), Jonas (32) and Aliir (28) again this season.
With 3 of those 4 looking fairly cooked/persistently injured, last chance to get a majority of a season into a younger player alongside two of them. Leave it to next year and it's probably two newbies together - 3 if Aliir gets injured.

Has Pasini grown in height at all since being drafted? Still listed at 192 but would be great if he’s found an extra couple cm and around 195 now.

Also off topic, but after watching the internal on the weekend I reckon with the right support around him and staying fit all year, Aliir can get back to his All Aus form in 2023.

Give him a few weeks in the SNAFL, and if he comes through unscathed, confidence up and in form, throw him in the Firsts in place of the club's resident work-life balance advocate and champion snow skier.

Jonas mentioned in a radio interview that Pasini's height was 193/194cm this year. Guess we will know by mid next month when Port update the players bio data (cm/kg)

We've had as many ACLs done in the SANFL as AFL. Soft Tissue injury, sure going at 80-90% in the SANFL will help ease a player back. If Pasini's clear to play a competitive game, he's good to go. If there is a worry, he shouldn't be playing at all.

Standing near Clurey he looks to be taller than Clurey (193 cm).
If he’s being rested from a 6 quarter trial game against one of the league’s worst teams, he ain’t playing R1 against the seasoned premiership favourites Only a few weeks later.
