I remember playing against verbeek, must have been 02 at nully, did he also have a run at Lalbert?

Danny coached Lalbert in 07, 08. He coached us through 2 of the toughest years of the clubs history and if he didn’t I am not sure the club would be where it is now

Waaia used to I think but can’t be certain, picola used to up until a few years ago.

That would have been the longest footy commute in the country, hay footy club should get some AFL recognition for the ks they do each year to play community footy, maybe an annual pre-season game at hay

Yep agree, it's a big blow for the league, nully generally have always had a good side, and recruited some quality players and had some quality locals to the league

Will be interesting what year they would go into NCFL if successful. Can’t see their transfer being blocked.

Didn’t see a lot of Billy but Glen Smith was pretty handy also

They target players to help improve their local kids and help the club not blokes just chasing money.

look occasionally there is the odd one who doesn’t work out but the majority of the time the get the right blokes

They will get to North Central which is a league that has probably been in more trouble than Golden Rivers in recent times with a number of clubs in trouble. Nullawil will be a good fit but whether they can be competitive against some of the bigger towns only time will tell. History tells me they will do ok.

I think most thought the north central was in trouble, but they've picked up sea lake and now nully, the league looks ok, even if wyche and Charlton or nully merge.

The sides they've had on the park recently would play finals in the north central

Didn’t see a lot of Billy but Glen Smith was pretty handy also

All the Smiths were good, I thought Brett was the best of them, they certainly had some good players, both Hewitt's, Fawcett, tony Doran, Watts were all gun locals
