They may want insurance after Paris’ injury scare last match.
Eh. I know he's okay at best but if you're that desperate you can bowl Cartwright as a change bowler.

Huge shield game coming up

Both sides in good form ...good lead up to the first test coming up in perth

Bulls lose the toss on a WACA greentop and have to bat.

I can see low first innings scores.

Richo nails Renshaw with a beauty. Big fall from a double ton Renners.

How come Marnus opened instead of Ussie?

This will be the most interesting game of the round.

Clayton needs a spell back in grade cricket/2nd XI, looked the goods in his first 2 matches but has failed ever since. Don't really see an issue with us bringing Street back even if he bats at 5.

I'd have one of Burns/Renshaw in at 5, Street opening

Renshaw
Street
Labuschagne
Khawaja
Burns

Wildermuth averaged 9 with the bat last season
I guess that is good reason to give him some time away to refind his form. Agree about Street.. he also had a down season but he has that ability to bat time by blocking out all distractions. Perhaps needs to improve technically if he is to make the next step. Would Renners have asked to return to opener?
