Golden Square is going for a serious tilt at the flag. I hope Toma goes back to cohuna afterwards and gets a flag there.

He missed a lot of football this season with hammy issues. Sitting in a car for hours each week to train and play probably wouldn’t have helped this.

I would have thought they would train as a group at least once a week in Cohuna.

He lives in Echuca, so nothing to do with the bendigo travellers. It was still a 45 minute drive to training for him I guess. Will be more travel for him going back to square.

Yer I wonder if Echuca in the GVFL approached him it would have made more sense to put his head down bum with them living in town if he is keen to play higher football and have a crack at a flag as well.

If your Hammond, and driving from Melbourne, wouldn't you be having second thoughts if a guy can't drive 35 minutes, this is easily cohunas best chance to win a flag, kerang lose Stagg and Curnow, with Coates, Kelly, Gillingham a year older, this was cohunas chance if they kept their top 5 players from this year

Former local apparently, played a bit of vfl and has been an eastern league team of the year player, centre half back, centre half forward, was clearly their best player when he came back after clearances mid year, last year
