A clear majority of the British public now believes Brexit has been bad for the UK economy, has driven up prices in shops, and has hampered government attempts to control immigration, according to a landmark poll by Opinium to mark the third anniversary of the UK fully leaving the EU single market and customs unions.
Just one in 10 people (10%) believe leaving the EU has helped their personal financial situation, against 35% who say it has been bad for their finances, while just 9% say it has been good for the NHS against 47% who say it has had a negative effect [while] ...only 7% of people think leaving the EU has helped keep down prices in UK shops, against 63% who think Brexit has been a factor in fuelling inflation and the cost of living crisis.
Lol. Well strike me down with a feather!
Brexit has completely failed for UK, say clear majority of Britons – poll
Only one in 10 feel leaving the EU has helped their finances, while just 9% say it has benefited the NHS, despite £350m a week pledgewww.theguardian.com
this is a shocker!Lol. Well strike me down with a feather!

There was lots of talk about how the UK would become a economic powerhouse when freed from the shackles of the EU. Big trade deals , free ports , becoming the Singapore of Europe etc. Probably thought the money would flow from there.I know these days populists can turn anything into a culture war if they think they can grift off it or get elected but with big issues like climate change, gun laws in the US or gambling reform there is always big money behind the scenes with politicians in their pocket to make sure they get their way, abetted by the likes of Murdoch to convince stupid people a leopard won't bite their face off but what was actually in it for the money behind Brexit?
Narcissistic buffoons like Boris and Trump will say and do literally anything regardless of the consequences to the planet or humanity in general if it means they get the big chair and everyone kissing their ass 24/7 and the lickspittles in the media will lie about anything if the hand that feeds them tells them too but other than creating a gigantic culture war who was making bank with Brexit?

Odd that everyone on bigfooty with one singular exception (no longer here) could see it at the time. The British public were lied to about the benefits of leaving the EU.
