We could do a Sunday June round, brave the elements.

Has good drainage and on a sand belt (old quarry) so holds up much better than most bush tracks. Greens always consistent. Would be good if a storm took out all of the gum trees but that's more about my personal issues.

A Sunday at 12 would be easy enough to book in May or June. They usually run a Sunday comp in summer but not sure about winter.

Keen to play on Cranbourne before it closes down, if anyone has any connections there to get on for a Golf day.

I reckon peternorth is playing next Friday at the old schools cup day, I will lock in a date for us at PK North

Cranbourne has now been sold off so it’s days are very numbered.

Usually they allow public bookings on Sunday at is but can only book from the Friday morning, so booking in advance is difficult.

It’s a course worth playing if you haven’t already. Might be worth a call to see if they can accommodate the prestigious Bigfooty Major.

On the plus side there is sometimes a booze bus on Glasscocks Rd on Sundays so you’re every chance of doing a Scottie on the way there.

I would happily play Cranbourne. Played there once before and it’s a solid track. And close enough to home that i could get the mrs to pick me up to avoid the booze bus
