But England are 8th out of 9 in the WTC.
If it was a good concept or a concept performed well, they wouldn't be eighth.
Concept performed well would be the key phrase there

Playing an aggressive natural game is fine.
It's the stupid shots, stupid reviews and stupid lack of tact where sometimes you need to pause and actually dig in and build an innings that makes Spazball stupid and narrow minded in execution.
Stupid is as stupid does.
And part of the problem with that is they score so quickly that their bowlers don't get enough rest. Tough, especially when your main bowler is over 40. They're actually missing Broad.Honestly, Bazball guarantees for them in non-Subcontinent conditions a score of upwards of 300 in the first/second innings, which is more than enough to defend. Even in the series they got roundly beaten, they achieved scores of +250 5 times and +300 three times; there's plenty of runs there. The problem is that they've not been able to defend it, allowing 3 scores of +400 and 6 scores of +300; it doesn't matter how many you get if your opposition just has more on tap when required, especially at the clip Jaswal was hitting them.
I like aggressive cricket, but the version they're playing with the ball is not working as well as it could. Need a bowling approach that complements the cattle the same way their batting is complemented by who's getting picked.
And if they win all their remaining matches they can conceivably finish above Australia. In fact they could probably even lose/draw one.Now dead last in the World Test Championship.
Might be the dumbest and most desperate hypothetical ever posted on this website. And if they win all their remaining matches they can conceivably finish above Australia.
