Well it has a few different options. Spare in defense, spare around the ball, tagger etc. I've never noticed any difference onfield though.

Spare in defense definitely makes a difference, one of your wingers drifts back and takes intercept marks or double teams the full forward

Interesting, I shall have to play around and pay more attention to that. Could also be my wingers just suck ass
