The Crows are a live chance in this. I know they’ve been playing some pretty ordinary footy this year but they’re getting a decimated Port at the right time.
Played some terrible footy yet have been in every game except the Fremantle game.

Lost to Gold Coast by 6 pts in Gold Coast (currently 9th)
Lost to Geelong by 19 points (currently top)
Lost to Freo by 35. Very crap in that game. (currently 8th)
Lost to Melboure by 15 points (currenlty 4th)
Won against Calrton bt 2 points (currently 6th)
Loss to Essendon by 3 points (Currently 7th)
Won against North by 57 points. (Currently 18th)

Port were so out of form on the weekend but they got the result which will breed confidence. I don't know which port we'll see on the weekend. I'm hoping for the fumbly inaccurate (1 goal 7 points) side from the weekend. If butters and Francis can step it up and lace it out to Dixon, Georgiadis, Marshall and rioli they'll still be hard to beat.

Port are there for the picking with some key injuries but I have no faith in us. Depends on what crows rock up.

If we turn up the crap we produced against Essendon, Port would still win with half their side out.

The crows have a thing about growing an extra set for their home showdowns, since our ‘04 flag we’ve won just 5 showdowns as the away team. A 5-2 start can easily become 5-4 if things go against us.

Yep, similar to our 2-5 start, could easily have been 4-3. Such a game of inches these days.
