This spreadsheet tracks picks traded in the 2023 AFLW Interim Draft (overage draft) and players acquired ahead of the 2023 AFLW season.

During the trade period I will try and keep it as up to date as possible when picks change hands, but I am one person so please be patient.

Threadmarks will be added to each update. This allows you to put the thread in reader mode, only seeing updates without the chatter in between, or to jump back and forth to particular trades or other updates that might be of interest. Updated to include delisted and retired players in the outs per this article.

I think for most clubs these spots will already have been filled internally through retaining last season's injury replacement players on the main list. If not, there's going to be something of an over-reliance on a shallow interim draft pool, trading and free agency to bring them back up to a 30 player list.

Love your work Lore.
Just wondering if the picks that are being traded are for the upcoming 2023 19+ draft or if they are for latter 2023 open draft? Not much compensation for losing a player if it is the first one.
This is the 2023 interim (overage) draft order for the draft taking place in a couple of weeks' time. All picks being traded now are from this draft.

Clubs don't have the ability to trade future picks, even though the compensation for expansion signings will be in the form of future draft picks.

Goodwin (Port) to Adelaide for Simmons, pick 16 and pick 34
Allan (GWS) traded to Adelaide for pick 52
Morris-Dalton (WB) traded to Collingwood for pick 15

This update reflects all currently available data around delistings, retirements, trades, and moves to the inactive list at the end of the trade period, per the womens.afl website. I have also tidied up a couple of typos and hidden some of the picks that are unlikely to be used (round 8+).

While the trade period has concluded, there are still opportunities to sign delisted free agents, and of course the (overage/interim) draft in a couple of weeks time.
