Even in the 'mega deal' Port are once again conspicuously getting the best deal. I certainly hope that's not because we have thrown in the towel in regards to getting actual value for JHF.

I agree, it seems there is an expectation of us taking some bulk discount.

-If GWS are giving 3 and 12 for our pick 1, in our ins that is pretty close to 3 and Port's F1.
-That means we are getting two and a couple of late picks for JHF, which doesn't even seem to be the value of pick 1, let alone a contracted number one pick talent like JHF.

Hope this is just more spin that hasn't come from our camp!

The ‘details ‘ leave out the future R2 from Port, which is strange as this was the pick that caused the AFL to tell Port to pull their heads in.

Not sure he is seen as their best fwd... my port work colleague calls him their 3rd fwd assuming behind George and Dixon

As I said he didn't specify who he had ahead.... just assumed Dixon even though he is getting past it and played ruck for some of the year.... wouldn't have thought he had finlayson ahead of Marshall. And who knows might just be putting him down if leaving....said Marshall be no1 at north so all grain of salt
