Normally we don't have a specialised thread for this but it's a quality startlist, could be a mini preview to next year's Tour. Unfortunately Remco Evenepoel and Jai Hindley aren't going but I'll put all the favourites per team in the poll.

It shapes as being very important for Lotto, Cofidis and Arkea as to whom stays up, also to a lesser extent EF and BikeExchange. The Quintana disqualification is still having ramifications, especially since Arkea aren't in the race this year. It's the last big points winner for the year for these teams.

Who does everyone have? I'm liking Tadej and Jonas obviously, Juan Pedro Lopez my smokie for the podium.

Uijtdebroeks to win his first race as a pro. Unlikely to happen but will be a watched rider by many viewers. Ineos will be an odd team, Bernal has gone back to Colombia to have further surgery from his crash. UAE and Jumbo look really strong, winner has to come from one of them unless they sabotage each other and let somebody get away that can't be chased down.

I guess Adam Yates is the other guy who they could call on for this.

Bahrain have put together a good team as well, just quietly. Three of their four leaders (no Haig) plus Bilbao, Poels and Tratnik. Will be interesting to see who else they send.
