There's s**t picks every year though, draft picks are the most overrated thing in AFL football.

I wasn't expecting to much, but Hawthorn have been surprisingly active

Hawthorn were already insufferable but now add Wingard and Scully to their list - two guys I can't stand. Really hoping this top-up policy does not pay dividends for them, in fact Hawthorn's one of the few clubs for whom its worked - but largely assisted by free-agency and the inception of the expansion teams.
