And what a goal it was, hard shot but made it look easy. Didn't get to see a lot of him for the rest of the match but his last little play on the wing where he took possession off the half volley settled and delivered a pass in between two Collingwood players to VB (I think) was great to see. He's a beauty.
Even though he had a quiet game, I saw some impressive signs.
Ie he can work out he is not in a marking contest very early, and immediately switches to crumbing mode.

Agree, probably wasn't the best game for key forwards, being such an even and tightly fought contest with very little space to be found, as evidenced by Stevens being the lone highest goal scorer with 3. In his couple of possessions did show that he is a class act with the footy and always looked dangerous when the ball was near.
Will be better for the run and will be saving his best for the faithful at footy park on Friday.
He talked him up on league teams on Fox. Reckons he had a bit to do with him at the NSW/ACT Rams.
Although quiet on the day showed some signs that he was going to be a gun.
