Walls is past it. Dawson will never be a Matt Scarlett or the like, but he is out there trying. Sure, he doesn't do everything great, but he in no ways deserving the public scorn that Walls heaps upon him.

Walls relevance to the game fades with every passing day. He may once have been a good player and coached a side to a premiership, but that doesn't make him immune from flack.

I don't think Dawson should of bothered personally.

However Robert Walls has no hesitation in calling for the sacking of players, actually his commentating generally consists of locking on a target and not letting go for an evening.

He has taught the likes of Quatermain and Darcy well, who now behave in a similar fashion.

Willing someone to fail isn't great, from Walls, or Dawson.
