It’s officially about to be Rusev day again.

So far WWE have had a good run with making Penta, Ethan Page and Ricky Starks look good, obviously turned Cody into a megastar.

It’ll be interesting to see what they do with Fenix, Rusev and Black.

Yeah Andrade and Lexus King have been meh but if you throw Cargil in there to they’ve managed to present those talent in a good way.

I’m confident Fenix will be the same and there is optimism for Rusev and Black. I think the NXT Black was good the Main Roster Vince Style was not good.

The Cena / Cody program is actually kind of bad but being masked by the mic work. None of it makes any sense and it keeps lurching around trying to find its reason to exist.

Cena is the sell out corporate pick who sided with the Rock who wants to... permanently destroy the major championship and hurt the product? Right.

Cena hates Cody and thinks he's a complete fake, so we're supposed to forget that he literally helped him win the title in the first place.

Ehhh no the whole premise of Cena turning was the fans have given him shit for decades and him doing the farewell tour , the fans not wanting him to win. He mentioned for the last 10 years whenever he has done WM it has been as an attraction like Taker, Fire fly fun house, Austin Theory.

Pretty clear the reasonings were stated that he isn't going to do what's "best" for business but what's best for himself and becoming 17 time champ and he will do "anything" to make it happen.

If we ignore the entire content of the last two 84 minute promos hes cut to start Raw then sure thats the stated reason.

Given everything that Punk himself has said the main event stands for, this feels like a really cynical Clayton's main event.

He's not wrestling for a title. He didn't earn it through the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber. He's going to main event ahead of two people that did win a Royal Rumble and one person who won an Elimination Chamber.

They can put it on last. They can call it a main event. But it's no different to when they used to say "5 MAIN EVENTS" - it's just a main event in name only. Pretending that it is? It's just taking away from the match.

Also interesting to me that they've put Fenix on Smackdown, away from Penta, away from LWO, away from Judgment Day, away from Gable and Gran Americano... he's kind of on an island on SD.

Agree with all of that, and while people aren't a fan of it - hoping the favor is still a chance for the winner to be in the true main event on night 2.

The build up of everything has either been meh or messy, only thing that's going to give night 1 some sort of hype going into night 2.

Have zero interest in Cena/Cody and im a massive mark for Cody.

This Charlotte stuff is ****ing brutal, and it's getting worse. Who is telling her to keep going with this? This is supposed to be a work.

I'll also never understand plastic surgery enthusiasts who think this looks good.

Great opening match with Fenix and Frazer. Apart from a few small things from Frazer was really good. Hope to see Fraxiom move up soon.

Charlotte and Tiff - was very awkward promo between the two, hard to tell if there were some personal ad lib lines that there.

apparently WrestleVotes said they went off script

Felt like it. Kayfabe wise they've never mentioned Kaiser and Tiff, so it seemed odd.
