Seems clear from the wording as well it's just an NXT and TNA working partnership for those shows and some premium live events. Makes sense to get some TNA appearances in the Rumble for a suprise. Don't expect any major names going to TNA though. It's a great opportunity to build TNA up a bit and get more eyes on their product.

Love like AJ Styles even IF was a one off to show up at TNA before he Retires

Also love him to get the TNA Theme back for WWE

Better than WWE stealing all their talent
If the best WWE can do is loan out Charlie Dempsey for a match, and end up stealing Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace then it's very lobsided.

so you would require the NXT Champion (any of them, even include the WWE Women's Tag Champs in this) to make it square?

Yeah if I'm TNA, I'm requesting guys like Trick Williams, Oba Femi or Giulia, you could even protect them by making them beat a mid carder (instead of losing to a top TNA guy), or be in a tag match and not take the pin if you are booking them to lose. Even have Ethan Page tagging with Josh Alexander again for a night. They are both heels.

Have Page and Alexander v MCMG

I'd like to see TNA run a show WrestleMania weekend, looks like they have Rebellion the week after but doing it on the actual weekend and featuring some talent who missed out in a spot could be good business. An example could be Gallows and Anderson having a few matches in NXT in March/April then you get the current TNA tag champs to show up and work an angle.

I wonder whether all talent whose contracts have recently expired are about to be replaced by WWE ID prospects.

So WWE are getting a feeder system external to NXT (as a step to NXT), and TNA are going to get some great talent they they might not have to foot much of the bill for. And it gives them both an opportunity to get reps and eyes on guys that they're trying to lock up.

Jack Cartwheel would be perfect for the X Division.

WWE have to do better in the TNA partnership (perhaps previous crossovers were testing the waters) but don't think I've ever seen a wrestling partnership that was truly equal.

maybe the old territory days? (that's a bit before my time, so I'm thinking World Class having working arrangements)

might be able to argue that the WWF/Memphis arrangement in 1993/94 was somewhat equal? WWF had Lawler on commentary, and Jarrett at a few house shows etc, and Memphis had the early workings of heel Vince, and talent such as Bret, Owen, Savage, (and then the drop off) like Papa Shango etc as the WWF invaders.

I guess they could do a NXT TV special which leads into Rebellion. 2 day WM and having SD the night before quashes my original idea of a WM weekend Takeover.

Watching SD on delay, and there are few things I understand less, and few things that I'm less interested in, than self-absorbed, wannabe main character flogs streaming themselves watching wrestling.

Who is this for? Who is watching those streams? And why is WWE now promoting potentially the lamest arm of wrestling fandom that it exists?

I'm way too old to care what other people think about wrestling, it was comical to me when a guy in his 50s started telling us earlier this year that "wrestling was cool again." Like, you're 50 mate - you don't get to decide/tell people, and why would you possibly give a shit?

Yet, with that said, I'm not sure I can think of anything that embarrasses me more as a wrestling fan.

TNA would absolutely go into this knowing that it benefits WWE more, as they have to loan bigger talent than comes back the other way.

But the overall rub that TNA gets, purely from exposure is worth it. They're getting eyes on talent that might not be seen by WWE fans otherwise, and maybe, just maybe, those eyes tune into a few TNA shows, attend a few events, boost the numbers and the $$

If Guy 1 (millionaire) and Guy 2 (billionaire) enter into a new business, and Guy 1 gains 30m in profit, and guy 2 earns 100m, in the grand scheme of things who is coming off better?
Guy 1 because he's increased his net worth by 30x.

Latest on Graves is that people thought he was trying to get fired, but sources within WWE reckon he was just trying to get people talking. Which it did.
