I really have no idea who is winning the men's or women's rumble, hasn't felt this wide open in years.

They’ve done an awesome job of giving all the heavy hitters really clear motives going into the Rumble, and relaying that for the viewer to invest in whoever they want. Each one a real chance depending which of the many stories they can go with.

Cena - His last hoorah, his final chance to win his last championship and break the record.

Reigns - Desperate to regain his title and glory as the tribal chief

Punk - Needs to get that main event spot at WrestleMania to fulfil his characters story and legacy.

Zayn - Even deeper layered story here with KO and CR, and the voice of KK in his ear. Opportunity for himself.

Jey - Has to get back to the big time match after recent failures.

Rollins - Needs to show the world and remind everyone who he is again

Paul - Winning as the smart cocky prick and furthering his reputation as a sensation.

except for Elimination Chamber and Money in the Bank etc etc

I don't think logic and statistics would say that is true. need to completely kayfabe this.

Ok look I should have known it’d get nitpicked. But the point is they’ve done a good job of each character getting across their motives, to the point that it realistically could go any which way, making it the most interesting Rumble match in a long time for me.

My pick to win it

Juicy odds too, last i looked....

Gamble responsibly

Definitely a huge chance. Could put on a classic feud and match with Gunther.

Isn’t he involved in something in March though? I thought I seen something with his brother.
Yeah forgot about that oopz

Meant to be fighting each other, apparently

Punk, Rollins, Reigns, Cena and McIntyre all a chance, depends on what they do with Cody/Gunther before Mania to. Its as open as its ever been.

I can see Owens losing the ladder match, then taking out someone during their entrance for the Rumble, taking their place, and winning as an absolutely unhinged heel.

might be better for Owens to clear the ring in the RR and have Orton return, instead of having Orton return by interfering in the Ladder match? either one is still good though.

EDIT: OR you do neither and he returns on the following RAW/SD after Rumble.

Totally agree, bit extra on each

Cena - if he wins the Rumble what do you do of relevance with him until Mania, which would be 10+ weeks away. Plus he is all over the Elimination Chamber advertising, again if he wins the Rumble there is no need for him to be on that show unless they do that stupid 'put your Rumble shot on the line' stip.

Reigns - nearly every single major storyline on the mens side is connected to Reigns' 4 year bloodline run and the damage he did/him coming back trying to get his power back. Again if he wins the Rumble he is back fighting for the title already. Don't see him challenging Gunther and Reigns/Rhodes III for the 3rd year in a row would be overkill.

Punk - if he wins the whole favour angle becomes moot and his main storyline of wanting the main event Mania again is over.

Zayn - a match v. KO the most likely destination at Mania. He'll help Cody retain/not help KO, leading to KO entering the Rumble and costing Sami.

Jey - can't see him winning but the storyline is there considering he is always coming up short and he is so over.

Rollins - interesting one as I don't know what his match will be at Mania if he isn't challening for a title. Expect his obsession with Reigns will cost him.

Paul - wold not be shocked if he won, they have teased him and Gunther twice now and he has shown he can get major heat, even if it is go away heat.

Cena and Punk are the 2 I alluded to as the only real chances of winning it IMO. I'm blown away by some of the names being suggested here, there's a lot of seeing things you want to see happening.

The women's is potentially more open, but I'd have Charlotte as a pretty short favourite.

Jey is great until his entrances finishes then his ass in the ring. No way I want him to win the rumble.
In my eyes his mid card belt guy only no way he should be anywhere near the world title belts.
