Might be an unpopular opinion, but Okada was absolutely the wrong choice to win the tournament.

Ospreay is the biggest babyface star AEW has. This was the perfect opportunity to start catapulting him to the top.

Okada hasn't been impressive since debuting in AEW and his win felt a bit deflating.

Fletcher, Ospreay, Richochet, Allin and even Garcia had better performances throughout the continental classic than the eventual winner.

The moment afterwards with Omega was a lot of fun! But surely there was another way to make it happen.



Also, if Tony Khan is smart he's booking Moxley vs Copeland for Brisbane.
The idea of 'Edge vs Ambrose' might actually sell more tickets to neutral wrestling fans, even though that won't be how it's promoted.
