Getting in to the ground, awful.

Lord's a shithole? You are clueless.
They should have kept Optus as Perth Stadium. It's a little niggle I know but a city's premier stadium shouldn't be facing the possibility of a name change in a couple of year's time just because a contract expires. As someone who has recently moved from Perth to Sydney, and used to watching the Eagles play at Optus Stadium, going to watch a game at Giants (Engie) stadium felt like I was watching an amateur football game. Not even in the same league.

You mean the cheat ground you only lost once at in an entire century? It's more a square than an oval, with a massive slope. Cheat ground and shithole, confirmed.

Geelong bogan needs to get out of Geelong. Just start with a day trip to Werribee mate, and go from there, you will never look back.
You mean the cheat ground you only lost once at in an entire century?
So the 'Kardinia Park isn't a perfect oval' argument was a bit of a fizzer; now you're going with 'Professional sporting team shouldn't play home games in its home city'.
Cool story, got any more?
As most people have said it’son every level.
List them.
You're the Trump of BigFootyLook at the poll and read the thread. People are literally calling it a shithole.![]()
You're the Trump of BigFooty
It's poo on some levels. It's obviously harder to get to than Melbourne city-based grounds, it's squished against the street on one wing, and it's not close to any food/drink/chillout options within easy walking distance like the G or the Gabba. As most people have said it’son every level.

Classic.
So, I've got:
Dimensions - as I've shown, complete rubbish, when you look at cricket grounds, no-one bats an eyelid. The Poms have a ground called The Oval, I don't even want to think about what they must have been playing on.
Location - professional sporting team playing home games in the city where it's based. Doesn't warrant any further comment, next.
(Largely unspoken) - we always get smashed there while the (at the time) strong Melbourne clubs get to play away games against Geelong at the MCG. There may be something to that. Richmond had the four or five year 'good Melbourne club' run, it's more than interstate teams get. Sorry you don't get to play away games against us at your home ground. It's so unfair.
Anything I've missed?
Look at your previous Geelong colleagues comment above. He is actually being impartial.
Also idk if you noticed but AFL and cricket are different sports.![]()
Yes. They are. And one of them is impacted far more by ground conditions than the other but people seem to be far more accepting for some reason in the sport where they impact them more.
You cry like a schoolgirl because professional sportsmen don’t seem to be able to navigate two hectares of grass once every couple of seasons

Australia's summer test cricket fixture:
First test vs India: Perth Stadium
Second test vs India: Adelaide Oval
Third test vs India: Gabba
Fourth test vs India: MCG
Fifth test vs India: SCG
I recall a bit of football being played on those cricket grounds from time to time.
Isn’t just me mate.
I mean shit you voted the MCG being the worst ground. The actual home of football.
Geelong has warped your mind. It’s not just coincidence you think the way you do. Might as well be arguing with a Geelong bot.
Do you think AFL and Cricket have the same rules?
Might have something to do with how the ground affects the game. It’s not the same argument. Quite bizarre you even brought it up tbh.
They have similarly "loose" rules around ground dimensions, unlike many other sports which have strict rules and precise lengths.
I dunno, it might be why every half decent footy ground in Australia becomes a cricket ground in the summer.
