One image I don't think we've shared is the honours board from the visitors change rooms

When looking at the two honour boards for 'Five Wicket Performances', they show how difficult 5 wickets in an innings is

Prior to Ecclestone's addition, the last 2 additions are from Bumrah, while on the Australian board the top two entries on the current column are D.K. Lillie from 1977

i'd be celebrating getting on there, not with 5/143 though

Kumble's 6/176 the only 5+ wicket haul from an international to go for more runs

Interestingly, we've had 3 Aussies concede more:
  • 1953, Bill Johnston 6/152 vs South Africa
  • 1981, Bruce Yardley 7/187 vs Pakistan
  • 2002, Stuart MacGill, 5/152 vs England

But regarding Ecclestone, she's now played 9 test matches with 16 bowling innings -this match was the 4th time she's conceded 100+ runs in an innings which is the most in women's test matches

For anyone interested, this article from ESPN CricInfo looks at the numbers, stats & records that were broken during the MCG test:

This is a really good article with some proactive thoughts about where England & women's cricket can improve

And point 6 is pretty good

6) Improve the English weather

The 16-0 whitewash is explained easily by the fact that it rains a lot in England. We could start by sending our players to a surfing camp at Bondi. If that does not work, global warming ought to eventually do the trick.

They should have a separate board for chuckers though.
