I edited it to add more content.

They ended up winning because of the umpires, because variables sometimes make games closer than the play deserves. They were the better team for most of the day.

It wasn't a game that demonstrates that we're the harlem globetrotters.

No it was an arm wrestle between 2 sides on the rise that was decided in the last few seconds of the game....

This is nonsense, look at the stats - it was essentially even.

They were all over us, we were lucky to be in it. Stats had much larger winning margin for Suns. Crows three goals from fwd half bit dubious. Even if we pushed numbers high, had a +1 even tho we won clearance by 10 they outscored us from stoppage. We were patently missing Matt Crouch lol.

We need to find least little bit fwd half against quality oppo. High dependency transition bit dubious, it's maybe bit misleading papering over cracks. Costs us in a fair few other areas

I’ll try and paint another picture for you. We lost to a team who’s currently sitting second on the ladder with the highest score percentage. By 1 point, at their home ground.

Meanwhile, the free kick count went unusually uneven for a game that was close to a tie, and probably a dozen frees that could have went to us, weren’t being called (eg. the Rankine mark/shove). In the whole scheme of things, and probability-wise, most teams would be losing to the Suns at their home ground, so it’s not a loss to dent our prospects of making the Finals.

The only obviously bad game thus far is the Cats game, no question. How much is it from fatigue from playing 5 days apart on unusually hot nights in an April? Well that’s something we’ll find out more over the next few games.

I think whatever the wins we get, the score percentage is going to be extremely important. If we keep the losing margins by little, while winning by big margins, it’ll likely get us to the Finals. Hoping for something like 7-8 wins by the bye.

I also think Murray is very important for us and we need him back soon and playing out the rest of the season. Our defense looks a lot more shaky without him, and coinciding with us having poorer results since after round 2.

6: GWS (H)
7: Freo (A)
We win one of the above.

8: Blues (H)
9: Port (A)
We win both of these.

10: Pies (A)
Loss.

11: Eagles (H)
Win.

12: Swans (A)
13: Lions (H)
14: Hawks (A)
We win one of these.

Bye: Crows 8W - 6L
id take that in a heartbeat. i think by the end of the freo game we will be cooked.
