The experience of Luai was a huge loss.
No doubt that we're a 12-18 point worse side when he's missing.

Missed the game ( festival in Thailand) where we good today or were Newcastle as bad as the stats are telling me ?

Newcastle were horrifically bad. Like, think of the worst we have performed over the spoon years and imagine it being even worse. Saying that, we were good in patches but our offence was putrid. A better team scores 50.

Cheers mate.
Yeah the stats were pretty bad reading
Who got binned for us ?

To'a. He nailed Gagai with a good tackle. The flog didn't like it and had a go which led to a bit of a melee. The ref binned them both much to the disgust of most people.

I'll take the win. Not a great performance from the Knights but you can only play against what's in front of you. Shame we couldn't keep them to 0 though.

Galvin gone at the end of next year. Refused contract extension and with Isaac Moses as his agent, will probably head back to Parra 🤮

Utter bullshit. I wish the clubs would just take a stand and flat out refuse to deal with Moses.
Politis and the roosters already refuse to deal with him.
Richo and the tigers need to follow their lead

Good on the Tigers for just washing their hands of it and saying that they’ll hold him to 2026 and basically ending their negotiations as it is.

Seems like they’re not prepared to engage in any gnashing of teeth over it and that they’ve made their offer, it wasn’t enough for him, and they’re not going to tear themselves to pieces over it.

The whole ‘I want to chase success’ thing is garbage.

There is a very distinct chance, admittedly only based on 6 weeks of footy so far, that by the time his contract runs out, he may be part of a side pushing into the upper reaches of the top 8.

They are a team stacked with talent and importantly you would probably have to say that aside from Api who is still a gun, every single player in that side has their best footy in front of them.

Hes as dumb as dogshit

He is a brat listening to his stain of a manager.

Agreed. I don’t understand how people cannot see the insidiousness of those grubs.

They are after one thing and that is the fattening of their own wallets and could not give two ****s about their own clients.

Not everyone likes a guy like Anasta - he was always a bit of a golden child etc etc but as an ex footballer and someone with close emotional ties to several clubs - The Dogs, the roosters, the Bunnies and yes probably the tigers, he actually seems even in his talk on 360 like a ‘I actually give a shit about the players’ type agent and MIGHT be the type who cares as much about what’s good for their careers as much as he cares about just getting them the most ridiculous deal possible so he can get rich from it.

Surely the grubby ones like Moses are easy to spot if Galvin has even semi-intelligent family figures around him

Very disappointing news but if he doesn't want to be at the Tigers, so be it. I feel like the squad is really strong now and has guys who genuinely want to be at Wests and playing good footy instead of banking the paycheck and clocking out. If Lachie wants an even bigger pay day than what's on offer, then he can go and find it elsewhere. The Tigers can instead use that money on players that actually want to build a foundation and be part of something successful.

In the meantime, it might be worth working out who else could play in the halves while we still have him.

Lachie can’t clock off yet. It’ll hurt his value.

I couldn't imagine him doing so tbh. I'm sure Galvin will have a great 2025 and a good 2026 as well. I was more commenting on how the squad seems to have players who take pride in wearing the colours now and that those who want to leave might as well go because there's now players who would want to come to the club or step up and take the role vacated.

Absolutely insane to me that people are bootlcking a multi-million dollar club who've "won" 3 spoons in a row, and bagging the player who wants to explore his otions.

I thought we were professional enough in rugby league to deal with this?

It is the way he is going about it. We have also seen this many times before from our young players.

Apparently the leadership group told Benji to drop Galvin as they don't want him in the team.

Doueihi is apparently replacing him in the 6 this week.
