Absolutely insane to me that people are bootlcking a multi-million dollar club who've "won" 3 spoons in a row, and bagging the player who wants to explore his otions.

I thought we were professional enough in rugby league to deal with this?
I’m equally surprised that you can’t comprehend why fans are disillusioned with a guy who was on the scrap heap and given an opportunity by this club. while not the finished article but clearly on the rise we offered a record contract that was snubbed by a kid who’s been on instagram liking posts about himself returning to Parra…. same side that let him walk.
It’s also his manager and the way he conducts himself that pisses me off.

Because that same club has FINALLY looked like starting to get its act together by virtue of some really astute signings both in terms of players they have bought into the club, some ‘good ordinary’ players they have retained at the club and some really talented kids they have stuck with and brought through, they have been very thorough with this player in particular and tabled a really good offer and gotten him to this stage where he is now and basically said ‘here you go mate. Here’s your fat pay cheque and here’s your team. It’s all yours.’ And not only has he snubbed them, which in itself is not unheard of, but he’s essentially said ‘I can’t be as good here as I can elsewhere’ which is a huge slap in the face to everyone at Wests. Even if you think it, you don’t ever let that stuff out.

Well, that loss was the most aggravating one so far this season for me. I honestly thought the officiating was putrid. Eels probably deserved to win anyway; some really stupid errors from the Tigers. On to the Sharks next week.

That was back to 23 bad.
I chose to watch it on my own rather than island hop on Krabi instead which galls me further.
Agree refs were awful but we were rubbish on a day I’d have loved to have made a statement

Thank. ****. For. That.

We should have had it sewn up in the first half and then got lucky to get away with it at the end.

That game was a bloody seesaw right through to the end. The Sharks fluffed their opportunities late but I felt the Tigers held their ground and showed great heart in defence, too.

May was just colossal.

I don’t really have that sick feeling some footy fans talk about when you let someone go and they kill it for someone else. Whyte and Wong (haha) and our other young forwards have taken some big steps forward for us and I’m just happy to see what a difference May has made to the Tigers. His runs aren’t as effective as Haas for the Broncos but he makes up for it with his minutes and work rate, it’s fantastic as an ex-prop to see players like that making a comeback to prominence in the game.

The tigers were I thought - though I was flicking to the Cats game of course - MAYBE the lesser team in what was always a close contest but their scrambling defence was something else.

That sequence where Galvin and then maybe Toa(?) stopped Hazleton and one of the other Sharks players with legs tackles when they both looked certain to score.

Those sorts of wins built on just effort are so enriching to a club’s culture especially after a torrid few weeks

Let’s be honest we were lucky to hold on and everything fell our way.
Second half was sub par but happy with the win
No doubt the Dragons looked extremely dangerous in attack, especially Valentine Holmes. Some sloppy finishing and ill discipline on their part definitely played its role.

It seems Galvin is about to join Canterbury with the formalities being done.
Call me childish but I now have a most disliked player in him.
Glad the sagas over, but think he and his grub manager are total campaigners

It leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I do think it's gotten to the point where the Tigers are better off without him. Onwards and upwards from here.

It really looked like in the past 2 losses that the players were not totally on board with Galvin there.
The storm first half proved it to me.
The moment when he thought he scored the match winner against souths showed how he celebrated alone and not with teammates

We certainly are competing, but we seriously are our own worst enemy this past month.
Unforced errors and penalties dog us

Big rumours around that Taylan May will be signed by the club by the end of the week.
