Won't get any argument from me, I couldn't believe it when it was even suggested. I personally wasn't that keen on it being there, mainly for selfish reasons as I wouldn't be able to make a Monday-Friday final. The last time we hosted the final at Glenelg it was great, would much prefer it to KRO.

My hot take is that all Shield and domestic one-day cricket on the mainland should be at the secondary grounds (WACA, KRO, Junction, AB Field, Cricket Central). And same for Bellerive, if and when the new Hobart stadium gets built.

Just as pi*sed off Josh Hazlewood did not forgo the start of IPL to play the final two shield games. The Blues attack has been decimated this year with the loss of Chris Tremain and our best emerging pacers not given at least an extended run. Rotten Blues selectors.
